Yep seen enough companies that get into bed with some dodgey 'investor' outfit at a ridiculous cost, and those boards then release press releases touting the benefits of having engaged a so called 'cornerstone' investor and conclude with the usual 'the board is extremely pleased to...' Blah blah blah....
As the tranches are released, the cornerstone investor sells down so subsquent tranches are at an ever lower sp with the usual outcome the company disappears in a puff of 'what happened'. Shareholders ripped off, directors do not care since their remuneration is typically all cash and at high levels, and the investor cashes out at 5+% per tranche.

Fortunately NONE of the above has parallels with OBJ.
