Theres some really intriguing geopolitics at play here people. This is all about building a deeper energy market that is not solely reliant on Russian gas supplies. I bet customer contracts will eventually be phased out and most gas supplied on the spot market. These big companies are playing for keeps here.
I think next 6 months the CSG sector in Oz will be mostly wholly owned by these big companies. And it makes sense because they have the cash to build these projects which will cost mega dollars.
I think Shell/Petrochina will end up bidding around late $5 early $6, as indicated by Wilsons, they've followed CSG for a while and have put out good reasoned research.
But who knows, there might be a cap raising come out on Monday or a bid for BOW!
