A great post and summary. The question is whether the Board and Management are likely to pull off a stroke of genius for shareholders? or Have the financial market vultures simply lured them to the desert in the hope of a new world, and are now circling and waiting.
Blackstone are not amateurs and there are some incredibly experienced people in the following pack.
Sydicated banks don't normally appoint investigators and advisors when a company has financial difficulty, it is the step before advising the Board they are insolvent, this is very close to a last step.
Financial markets do not usually abandon equities without cause?
I doubt, given performance, the Management and Board will pull off a master stroke.
The Board look far more wind sweep, parched (of ideas) and delinquent than any other player in this game. They don't have my bet.
