We often hear of the horror broker stories and how us punters get ripped off. I have a good news story.
Rang my broker this morning to buy CBA $28.50 calls bid was 35c-offer 38c, I bid 36c. After placing the order share price fell continually and I thought to myself , I've been hammered here.
Broker called back after market closed to say he forgot to put trade on this morning but bought the options for 30c this afternoon. He did not have to let me know and could have pocketed the $600.Instead he passed on the advantage to me.
So SSB thank you for being an honest broker.
