Just reading through today's Annual Report it seems there's a phenomenal amount of drilling planned on some very large targets for the next few weeks. December is usually a write off with the onset of the monsoon season which means most of the planned activities will happen between now and the end of November.
With the (AQDOA) options expiring late next month, clearly there is scope for some last minute. AQD is focussing on 3 main areas. Success in just one of these will get the options over the line. More importantly, it could finally signal a change in fortunes for those who have backed AQD's dream team of geos for so long.
(note also with $26 million cash in bank earning close to $1.5miil per annum, funds are no impediment if they get the right whiff!)

Base Metals and Gold • Base metal potential of the Plenty River area (Northern Territory) reinforced by the discovery of nickel-copper gossans west of AusQuest’s tenements
• Strong Electro-Magnetic (EM) conductors indicative of sulphide mineralisation outlined at White Gums, with drilling scheduled for Q3 2009
• Drilling of the Caroline copper-gold prospect, which reflects a large (3km²) gravity/magnetic target, also scheduled for Q3 2009
