If you assume that;
- Aspermont does not need cash in the short term (for the business to expand or to place on a better opportunity in the market) or,
- they want to take a lower risk approach (ie, they may believe that it has a % change of being 3c but not willing to take the risk so take the profit now and move on
All speculation of course, either way I agree with others that directors selling is usually a negative. The key difference for me in this case is that its aspermont who have their own motivations and plans that may be driving a decision rather then the personal investment strategy of an individual director. I conceed its a subtle difference, but a difference all the same.
