We can be grateful to Jehovah that he has seen to it that the inspired writings that recorded the things Jesus said and did have been preserved down to our day. Unlike fanciful legends, the Gospel writings reflect painstaking accuracy and attention to detail. For example, they abound with names of real places, many of which can be visited today. They tell about real people, whose existence has been corroborated by secular historians.

    Nice try MrG.
There are a few things that you did not mention. For example.
    1. Most things that are attributed to Jesus are a welcome improvement on the OT. Love for neighbour, including enemies, the rebuking of the of Scribes and Pharisees, the Sermon on the Mount etc. It seems that God had matured somewhat between the OT and the NT. This is spoilt somewhat by Christ telling his sheep to forsake parents, siblings etc to follow him (Christ). This attributed to the inspiration of God?
    2. The contradictions between the Gospels don't support the idea that they where inspired by God.
    3. The historic inaccuracies in the Gospels. For example, there was no census at the time of the birth of Jesus and Herod did not order the killing of babies under two years of age..
