hi all - I enjoy reading the posts people put up - good read with a cup of coffee and a biscuit. I do not own any DCC at the minute but have been researching it for the past few days.
* They hold 215 Bitcoin in the company valued at AUD$37k per bitcoin - so total - circa AUD$8m
* They seeded the Bitcoin fund with another 215 Bitcoin - so valued at circa AUD$8m
* Total Bitcoin value is AUD$16m - their direct holding and their holding in the fund.
The Market Cap of the company is $59m as of today.
Revenue for the Sept 20 quarter was $118,000 so if we annualise it - it is then $472,000 for the financial year 20/21.
So the market is valuing the Business ex-Bitcoin at $59m minus $16m =$43m - now $43m valuation for a business making $472,00 revenue is a little rich!!
THAT IS WHY THE SHARE PRICE IS NOT BOOMING WITH THE INCREASE IN THE BITCOIN PRICE. The value of the company is in the Bitcoin the rest of the company is not that exciting.
