Pure economics. There are a limited number of LVAD makers. Any positive decision will refer to LVADS only.
Stocks of Thoratec and others will rise (not loss makers) and there will be a propensity to take over and so grab a greater share of the increasing market.
If VCR has a good design then, without a price rise this stock will be cheaper to anybody who wants it.
When the decision of Medicare was delayed, VCR fell back. (I think that some prospective Medicare news was already factored in).
If it is a positive decision then I shall see the share price rise. Please don't ask how much as the Medicare decision could be a difficult one.
