Nothing surprises me anymore. The big question is why would you bother postponing? The first reaction is that the directors would probably be able to see the vote tally as it stands and with Purcell's letter going out quite late he is probably simply wanting to maximise the impact of that. For me it is an indication that things are quite close.
For the sake of the company it would have been nice to get this over and done with today, regardless of the outcome.If Purcell gets up I'm sure he has something in mind; likewise it appears that the other directors are waiting for this to be over before closing a deal. I'd just like some action as we are currently in a holding pattern due to disharmony among those we pay to get the job done.
