A letter to management, page-60

Your favourite band advertises they'll be in town on the 15th.
You buy tickets well in advance, and you get excited about seeing them - you tell your friends, make plans.
You enjoy all the radio promos in the lead up to the 15th, their music is on heavy rotation in your house and car.
It's now the 15th and you are ready...to...go!
You go down to the hall, park, mix into the crowd and start making your way to the door. One mass of people, all true fans...

But the door is chained, and there's no information stuck to it or anyone nearby to explain what's happening.

You go home confused, tired and frankly let down. You go online to find out what happened to the band, but there's nothing. No word.
The next day, there's an apology in the paper - they couldn't play because they decided some time ago that they didn't like their instruments anymore. They're going to get newer ones. And understandably they need to break the new instruments in and practice with them.
They say 'We won't be issuing refunds - just hold on to your tickets and they'll be valid the next time we come to town. We'll let you know the rescheduled tour dates soon!'

So if you wait however long, you may get to hear some new songs (turned up to '11'); or you might just be a person with a ticket to see a band you don't like anymore.
