Just an idle thread to share how Silex has changed the lives of long-term holders. Personally, all of my SLX shares have been held through my SMSF, so while it hasn't directly changed my day-to-day life, it has dramatically changed my life plans.
I'm 45 and now partly because of Silex, my being retired at 60 is a racing certainty, and it seems likely that I'll quit work to live off savings within the next 3-5 years. I've also found that I put up with far less BS from rude people nowadays, and I'm no longer envious of the rich (nor intimidated by them). I still drive my trusty 1995 SAAB, and I live in the same average 3BR house, but I find that I walk a bit taller knowing that I'm financially secure for life.
