nuclear is necessary in the long run. but Dutton and his plan will be very unlikely to build a plant. he hasn't done the diligence, his announcement was merely a thought bubble, he wasn't serious or he'd present the plan, the facts and thew costings.
this is the sort of thing we get with political parties pints... all talk and no real effort taken to develop the thought into a realistic plan.
the left aren't any better. look how Bowen and Plibersek struggle with their portfolios. as far as I can see the only one doing a fair job (not a great job at all) is Chalmers.... and we don't yet know how much bs he's poured over the budget papers. with Abbott/Hockey it was obvious, but chalk era seems much smarter.
