A brief minor disagreement with Lynne's original post.

You comment that the FDA meeting is not until April 2015. This is not my understanding.
The three key times that I have heard (2 from the ann, 1 from social media)

Q1 2015: discussions with the FDA

April/May 2015 (so Q2 2015): unblinding of the trial. Patients/caregivers discover if they're on placebo or 2566. The social media response to this will be very interesting.

H1 2015 (so probably Q2 2015) publication of results from the trial. This will obviously be interesting. It's clear that there was a lot of data analysis still to be done so we should get a lot more detail in the final paper. Also: there was an interesting NYT article recently that pointed out something like 50% of clinical trials don't publish their data (often to hide their bad data). So from a scientific transparency point of view, while you would have thought Neuren's plan for publication should just be expected, it turns out to be a positive marker for the integrity of the company and the trial.
