The market is funding an idea
This one took off because of the personalities involved. If it were 2 kids from an office in Chatswood they wouldn't have raised a dollar.
Bad debts shouldn't be a problem because the premise if mum and dad will bail the kids out. The problem is the kids only have so much pocket money and can't buy forever. So the next channel is older women. This is glorified lay by bu take the product now. There is nothing original in this. If you are a shopkeeper and someone offers you the same service at better terms you will take it. Retailers have no brand loyalty beyond the next sale. AFY might spend money on tailoring some posters for the store to help the shopkeeper convert some sales, but it is an occasional help. Their business model relies on changing the way people consume retail. And we're talking margins in the dollars.
There are so many threats to this company. It is basically a start up in early expansion stage, trading off the back of being a darling
