Fundamental Due Diligence and Active Management

The risks of investment during the value creation stages are higher than the risks of investing in operating mines, but so are the potential rewards. Our investment committee scrutinises every potential investment carefully

Post investment, we actively manage our investee companies. This involves continuing interaction with management, site visits, monitoring of external conditions and in many cases we provide directors to serve on the boards of investee companies. We also provide assistance to the investee company as required by drawing – on behalf of the company and our investors – on the experience and global relationships we have in the Taurus team. This assistance covers technical, financial and commercial assistance. Overall we put in the resources to give each investee company the best chance we can to successfully develop and commission their projects.
