I must confess although I have invested in some biotechs in the past, it is not my forte. Nonetheless, I really dont get how there seems to be this sense that there is something very special about boiotechs that you've got to cut their management a heap of slack, so that when they dont meet self-imposed deadlines and when they don't even bother explaining why, everyone says: "tsk tsk. It's really bad I agree, but try and understand they are a biotech". I dont recall there being any special ASX listing rules or Corporations Act provisions excusing officers of biotechs? Is there some special form of handicap that they suffer? Why is it more complex and subject to more variables than setting up any new business?. All I want is to be kept informed about what is going on on a regular basis, and not to have a heap of spin. But of course, I cant have that because TIS is a biotech....
