RBR, the post is about America where the minimum wage is supposed to be $6.00 an hour, although many work for less. Some haven't had a job for some years, but don't count on the unemployment stats because they cut out after a couple of years.
Mind you, their housing is cheap by comparison to here, and consumer goods, clothes as well. Bad luck if you get sick though.
