But either way, I reckon the advocates should cut out the lies and false propaganda to focus on the real issue. Which at its core is simply - and despite best practice mitigation measures - there is a large environmental penalty in return for a larger financial reward. Will you accept that? However, given the structure of Philippine society with regard to religion, security, nationalism, populism, fuedalism, tribalism, stupidism etc, etc, etc, the vote for acceptance has to be almost unanimous.
