The whole space is very fluid .... what with all the ICO going on to create currency within the platform, TGE's to raise capital (thereby passing by the investment banks bread and butter of IPO and equity markets), crowd funding etc, etc. And of course very unregulated so its the wild west.
There will be winners and wannabees. The only for sure thing is "disruption" and retailers found out by being Amazon'ed (earlier it was Wal-marted).
Logistics/Shipping/Distribution ecosystem is ripe for that. Along this line, years ago I sold software to a trucking company (J.B. Hunt - largest LTL (Less Than Truckload) carrier in USA) and their JV - Transplace.com - to build a "marketplace" where loads and backhaul loads could be bid on using this new "online internet thang" (JBHunt HQ in little ole Lowell Arkansas).
That was disruptive then, and Yojee et al are disruptors now.
ND ... I'm going to disagree with you on point 1. US & Europe is the battleground for success and while SE Asia has Singapore and Hong Kong, the size, scale and complexity wont be apparent in Cambodia et al. They would be better off with a smaller scale US/EUR test customer IMO.
First Mover Advantage is critical but you still have to get it right (Yahoo fail, Google Win. Netscape fail, Microsoft Win, Amazon win, all others lose)
In technology never ever underestimate the innovation of Silicon Valley.
