A lonely wind turbine powering the nation

While venturing through the Australian outback our admiring gazes were jarringly punctured by the first wind farm perched up on a ridge.

Only 1 windmill was turning! Our thoughts immediately crossed to the plight of the plethora of alarmists trying to get a feed of lentils with next to zero power.

Surely they could switch on their gas. Wait in Vic gas has been outlawed. This meant that the lonely windmill high on the ridge would need to supply the power to run their microwaves to soften said lentils.

Luckily there were more windmills in fact more than you could poke a stick at that were and many were turning so our empathy for Vic's lentil munchers rapidly evaporated to the extent that an internet search produced a recipe on how to cook lentils when there is no gas.........

    • Microwave for 7 minutes on HIGH power level.
    • Drain water and refresh the lentils in three changes of cold water.
    • Add water to the lentils until it is about an inch over the level of lentils in the bowl.
    • Cover with a clingfilm wrap and microwave for 7 minutes on HIGH power level.
    • Uncover, drain the scum floating on top and microwave for 10 minutes, uncovered.........
It would seem that alarmists are so dependant on coal fired electricity to remove the scum from their lentils that it begs the question. How do the rest of us get rid of the political scum destroying our economy with their windmill fantasies.
