I wouldn't consider any of these to be significant as far as "recent" development work ongoing. Yes they were recently issued, but look at when they were filed. The vaccination syringe was originally filed in 2010 and the others all date back to 2012 and 2013. Based on patent filings that I myself have been involved in, it takes that long for the U.S. patent office to process and based on the timeline of the vaccination syringe I suspect that there was some back and forth with them on what claims could be made.
