Hi Wishlist,
Wonder what the Taiwanese company are thinking now? My guess is their pushing hard for FID and are ruing the day they signed up for 10%.STO also have been trying to sell down from 80% to 50%(+ ?). Seems to have been little interest at the right price and I wonder if it might be that lack of FID might be the answer. FID, from memory was originally expected in 2022 and now end of 2024. STO might push it out further .Many of us hoped the Taiwanese company would increase their holding. It hasn't happened! Could the apparent lack of interest from Santos explain why this company ,and others, haven't come up with an acceptable offer? I'm hoping, STO, sell more than 30% and relinquish their operatorship . Then we might get moving. Just my opinion and I'm fairly sure that I'm p...ing in the wind. Note that I'm fully aware of the long lead times in the oil industry but the delay in further exploration in the Bedout is IMO inexcusable.
