Its easy to see even on Hong Kong and Singapore a lot of the elite get wealth from seeking rent including from the oppressed.
Obviously if people had property rights relating to lease rights instead of ownership rights markets would be a far more free and fair as feudalism is watered down in hierarchical set-ups so humans can seek empowerment through performance separate from property exclusion rights!!
