    Winston,

People that are slagging you off are hurting badly. They are hurting in the most sensitive place when it comes to investing...that is their wallet.

More often I find that the non-holders posts have a lot more value as opposed to the "hardcore supporters" who on many occasions are nothing more than flag wavers. The saying is that "shareholders are the best promoters for a company". When things go wrong the first sets of arguments from these supporters are "fundamentals is still strong, they are in for the long term, and they have a strong hand and will not sell at such low prices" and then comes the more desperate personal attacks like "how sad you are, you have to much time, and you are a downramper with no life". Happens pretty much on every stock forum.

I agree with you that the graphite sector is now out of flavour. I have been shorting SYR from July/August but have closed those positions. Still think the sector may struggle for the short to medium term (next 12-18 months). Could not short MNS or VRC as my various brokers could not get access to stock to short.

One thing about the resources sector is that there will be a time where there will be a resurgence. From April to November saw a big comeback in Coal. Now there seems to be a rally in Uranium. All this is great trading opportunity.

Graphite will have its day again but if someone is already locked in at a high price even a rally will not help. Its like holding VRC at 10-12cents and seeing it drift to 2-3cents after 12-18 months, then the sector rallies and VRC go back to 10-12cents (assuming there is no dilution in the middle). WKT recently announced (less than 2 weeks ago) a DFS which saw it rally from 8/9c to 14c and now its trading volume is falling. If WKT has no new over the next 2 months I can see it going back to 8c.

Any company that is NOT producing positive cashflow is reliant on placements and dilution as a means of survival. No matter how good the project is if there is no money to advance it, then its dead. This is the case for all specs.

I am hoping for a revival in the graphite sector. Also monitoring the cash situation of VRC and possibly look at entering (for a trade) when they raise cash.
