war did not breakout due to hitler not sticking by the rules. hitler simply attacked without warning as he was always planning. historical analysis of the events that led to this shows that an average politician should have known that. chamberlain would have given hitler time forever and allow any of his barberic acts on humanity as long as the british empire was left alone. there wasn't a great difference in the ideology fascism and imperialism when it comes to suppressing other nations/races, although british became more civilised in their nature of suppresion, thanks mainly to the resistence movements and endless sacrifices.
