There's been a massive increase in noise in terms of the media coverage of the Aun-Foxtel merger!! Today's Australian (p32) has a big article stating that Seven and Ten networkds support the merger i.e. not threatened by the merged entity!!

Today's AFR on p39 has another big aricle stating that Aun and Foxtel are prepared for a long drawn out campaign if the ACCC knocks the bid back. The article (final sentance) makes it clear that the only person that John Malone (Liberty Media's controlling shareholder) is prepared to sell Aun to is Foxtel, even if this requires a long drawn out legal campaign.

Bottom Line- I buy, something has to happen soon!!
