pennyman, I also agree with what you say regarding the SPP, and I am sure that Martin Rogers would have been happier if it happened that way.
But, sometimes things don't go like clockwork. You are talking about deals here with potential partners which require considerable due diligence (from both sides) which will probably come to fruition just a little too late for the SPP. To us shareholders it is of course dissappointing, but when you stop and think about it, it isn't such a big deal.
As far as the usage of the Fortrend funds are concerned, my understanding is that Fortrend will receive shares in the company at the sp at the time of the drawdown less a small discount. Let's say they make a drawdown, say, in December and the price then is 20 cents, Fortrend will pay that price less a small discount - I think it's 10%.
Stick to the fundamentals - don't let them drown you with STUFF
