ok i visited AMAZON FRESH and boy that was an experience. Can u imagine stealing would be a thing of the past and the money retained in theft retention would be enormous. Now Akida would play a very big part here it uses some sort of calibration of shelves requiring the shop keeper to maintain the correct items on shelves. The shopkeeper tells me human error puts the wrong stock on shelves at times. Akida can fix that. From what i can see is it scan you in to yr amazon acct and yr moment u remove an item it tracks what shelf position moved and tracks you and adds it to yr bill for when you exit. The tricky part is if u don't want it anymore you must put it back exactly where u found it and it will deduct it. There are so many cameras on the ceilings it would have cost s bit to fitout. Now Akida in the picture it may well cut some of the power costs and cut human error out Great concept and i can see Akida in every store either at the checkout oabd as theft prevention.
