Come on FF- some objectivity here. Everything you post (whilst very to a very high standard) is through rose tinted glasses. IMO, the release was put out by Brainchip just before the poor financial reports were released, which smacked of desperation. In terms of the nanose research, why did Brainchip promote it rather than nanose? A few weeks later the CEO abruptly departed, which even now seems very circumspect given the announcement and subsequent reporting. If there is already a deal with nanose and it was subject to a non-disclosure, then why would they agree to the press release. Too many long bows being drawn on here.
