I don’t really get it. Your objections are far from obvious and logical. I know there have been intermittent problems in the U.S but they frack wells safely on a daily basis. So, yes it can be done safely. And, if it is done safely in this case, surely that negates some of your argument.
Secondly, if gas is cleaner and greener than coal, then that must be progress? I am a big fan (pun alert) of renewables, but I am realistic that they are currently an incomplete solution.
Thirdly, the OCD in me has to point out the word sore means irritated and painful. Soar on the other hand, is to fly higher. Let’s hope that both industries can fly together.
