SRX was let down by media speculation and went off on a tangent. The media in the modern world should receive the blame for most things and for the rest, the politicians should get the blame. Deciding on who to blame between the media and the politicians is pointless: they are more often than not, one and the same. But politics had nothing to do with SRX, it was all down to media speculation on colorectal cancer IMHO.
