re: a mathematical question stockmarket Eric, I have attempted to answer his question in a broader sense. But what you have said is basically right. I don’t believe T/A can answer any market question let alone his particular one. However I am very interested in T/A founded replies to this topic!

Fibbernacho, what can I say? Guppy’s statement appears ignorant to facts while he discloses none of his own. I would probably feel the same way if what I passionately believed in was scientifically dismantled. His argument is based on nothing but bitterness. I would be very interested if he actually tried to systematically disprove any of the book’s arguments as opposed to discrediting them with nothing.

An honest question – what makes Random Walk or any of the other conclusively strong fundamental based theories (or arguments) ‘outdated’?

Fibernacho, I liked that quote of yours. It certainly does take more than one view to make for an excitingly unpredictable market.
