I am down about 30% over my entire portfolio since the start of May.
I mentioned URA earlier.
We own these companies. That is the right of passage to be on any market.
If i have a problem i call them until someone picks up the phone, or if i know the fundamentals and timing i line up for a big win. Sometimes people cut in line.
For me its more so seeing it on every single stock. Everyone is red. Its a down market, Bernanke is fcuking the world up royally. these are the breaks.
Hysteria on forums though is manipulative. People with small positions that have been holding and hoping for this just die in the background or bail with half what they came in on because they see everyone complain but do nothing about it.
There is a majority stake on this forum alone in every company we trade.
I bet if everyone bought another 100000 shares the rally would trigger a mass buy. In essence, everyone here is inside trading. Though not for gain but for loss. This post scares me...........DUMP. That post scares me DUMP... Followed by another 30 people.
If the fundamentals are solid. And there is a month in delay that to me is no big deal.
Try having over half of your assets in a trading halt for 4-6 months for recapitalization of debt and see if you can stand after the slaughter.
No halt here, if you are worried and are thinking of selling, sell. But like in the other threads i have seen people have quoted stock held and later said they were selling. For example. Including today's buys i now hold 7 million on 2 accounts. If i sold all of them at market, my listing would knock out everything down to 2c with minimal support. In turn that would likely see the stock hit 1.9-1.8 up to a volume of maybe only 8-10 million in a few minutes. Include stop losses and people watching like a hawk and we could easily slip into oblivion at the hands of 1 person and find out what 1.6c feels like for dinner. See what i am saying? Don't scare the masses without due diligence. Anyone smart enough will see that with a thread full of people saying if it goes worse or if it takes longer i am going to sell. Work on averages alone and each person in this thread if not listing at market will chase the others down and those that follow these simple human behaviors will benefit.
Myself along with a few others will just feel bad for people while i hit the buy button.
This board needs a serious shake up.
