    That is for above ground gasification of coal. That is, they mine the coal, transport it and then gasify it. LNC is using UCG in conjunction with GTL, the first time in the world. Also, LNC is also converting coal to diesel, which produces 30% or less CO2 than the gasoline in your article. Don’t underestimate just how much interest around the world there is for what LNC is doing.
