A Moral Obligation?

The immigration minister tells us Australia has a moral obligation to settle 200,000 Afghanistan refugees.
Apparenttly they have legitimate reasons to apply for permanent visas to rebuild their lives here.
The far bigger moral obligation that the government needs to pay attention to is in my opinion is firstly the veterans who served in Afghanistan who endangered their lives to try and build peace and stability to the nation. Suicide and homelessness is a major problem with veterans and they should get priority care.
Then Albo needs to fix the aged care system.
He said in parliament 2 weeks ago that aged care residents are starving and malnourished.
And he is correct as I am having personal experience with this concern right now.
Its madness to want to import 200,000 Afghan refugees when I see everyday homeless disadvantaged Australians trying to get through the day just 10 minutes walk from where I live in Kangaroo Point, in Fortitude Valley Brisbane.
Fix Australia first before looking at problems overseas for goodness sake!
