Hi Prosperman and Rabbitoh Re my thoughts. Yes I do care how my meats are killed. To get a good steak the animals need to be delivered to the abortoirs the day before watered overnight and killed the next day( good Meat ) not trucked prodded then yarded and straight into the killing pen. Yes the poisioning Myxy etc of the feral animals is cruel and takes a bloody long time to take effect. The way that they take care of the wombats ( Flame thrower down their burrows) leaves a lot to be desired but has the desired effects. I see no reason why these animals being tied to the Lure cannot be killed just prior to being used, as it has the same effect fresh warm meat, blood still there for their lust and hunting ( chasing ) instincts. How many of these events are held just to please some of these sadistic trainers and owners. As for rabbitous friendly possums they are still just a pest Towie DYOR
