I think the dumping was a combination of ST traders reacting to the "good news' of upcoming mine lease approval timetable , by selling off to move this hot money into companies with a shorter time horizon for profits............. and the general malaise of 'sell in May...etc that has been with us for a couple of months now!

I have also been doing a bit of reading, and it would seem that the foreclosure rates in the sub-prime US mortage belt are hurting everyone, combined with increasing bond yields , which is then putting downward pressure on world equity markets....hence our recent sell-off

....which translated means ........ I dont really know!!

I still believe that QOL is a great 1-2 year investment , with plenty of upside...but patience is required.....or as pirra says (on another h/c thread ...ARU) .....'time will tell....always does'
