Shane76, your family has a glittering future over the next ten years!! I recall Warren Buffett buying into silver in the billions around the turn of the century. He argued that there was a serious supply deficit that would eventually turn the price in his favour. I seem to remember it was around $5oz then and with no more positive sentiment than gold had at the time - plenty suggested he would suffer the same fate as Hunt Brothers. Buffett's philosophy has been to place big bets on high probability events and again he is being proven right - and I reckon spectacularly so in the years to come.
