since 2005 they have been in FTA talks

now Lynas is waiting on TOL or is TOL waiting on Lynas to complete?

No news and so probably the latter as Lynas continually says its not finished - read Sept last year?

Consider this that since 2005 there has probably been many subjects and different people involved in FTA talks between Malaysia and Australia.

Now Lynas is in limbo with its TOL and the herd thats losing their dough says forget everything else and put it on the top of the agenda talks?

Oh PLEeeeeeze. The FTA is full of legal jargon and goes back and forward between Malay and English several times to make sure that the spirit of the agreement is understood and agreed on. Throwing Lynas in the mix will not get the answers you want. Its not about Lynas, its about the import export taxes quota's contracts shipping etc of good and services between these countries. Its not specific on one company or product - it is a range of things - a bit of tit for tat!

Lynas investors walk into the share market casino and put their money down and then run around the room crying because theres a bump in the road.

My comment about who's Lynas was meant to be just that - who is Lynas in the big picture? They are there but there are far more important issues to deal with as the machine chugs forward slowly to somewhere that will hopefully end in a way that will be on some middle ground.

IE there is an election coming up and if Lynas is the fall guy so be it! As the PM thinks the election is worth more than a LAMP.

Then throw in something real scary - GFC2 aka EU Meltdown. You can already see the effects of this - nothing to do with the TOL but boy is it having a nasty effect on the markets. Hey theres an idea why not get Craig to put this on the agenda or get NC to fix it! Ring the Lynas staff and abuse them eh?

Its all about the big picture and if you dont see the big picture then pack up your chips and leave the Lynas table.
