Hi all

as ever thanks to blokes, would urge you all to read the medsim page he posted.

The significant thing is that 134 members of congress are currently "on side" and that legislation may be brewing to make simulation training mandatory, not optional as part of medical training over there, and that funding will become available for both individual simulators and more importantly skills centres.

Once these become the norm there will never be any turning back, next europe, then asia , then it will become the accredited global standard we as consumers/patients will come to expect.

Anyone want to hazard a guess where the US will be with this in 2011, ie, 4 more years given that this association have only been going for 4 years?

incidentally, check out the other companies on the medsim council...lots do individual simulators but only one seems to do the whole skills centre package, guess who!
