Does this mean that their dividend in Jan 24 nolomger applies? Yes. The .39 cps was conditional on the passing of the scheme resolution (amongst other things). The resolution failed, so the condition was not met and the dividend will not be paid.
However........that does not mean there will be no dividend in early '24. In past years the dividend has been declared in February, along with the results announced. In the past the dididend has usually been paid in March.
It will be interesting to see if the board lifts the dividend significantly this year.
