What worries me slightly is that they, being the journalists and rap booked the date for this TV news on the assumption  that the US study results would be out.  Then finding the process delayed and weighing up the pros and cons decided to proceed. I just keep trusting that the timeline for results is out of the control of RAP and simply based on correct procedures taking longer to complete than expected.
