Your experience sounds very similar to mine at times. I now try and stick to the motto "don't chase" - there certainly can be times when the SP over-reacts and you don't want to be buying then. The opposite also occurs, good announcement is made and little or no change in share price. In that case I'll happily back myself and buy.
