It had crossed my mind after the first trial whether it could have been more beneficial acquiring cough samples during the night, while patients were sleeping or trying to sleep. Things like tv's and tea trolleys etc wouldn't be around and there would be far fewer visitors in the wards... oh well, they probably thought of all that at the time. I have experienced time in an ER as a patient and while it is not the quietest of places for the sick, there have been times in between ambulances and admissions when it was quiet. That was when I thought they would do better collecting cough samples during this "quiet-time". Again, they probably thought of all that at the time.. who knows? Anyway, fingers crossed for the next announcement .
