Having a PC of extensive age approx 15 years which although with an excellent credentials because it has been upgraded a number of times I am still stuck with Windows 7 which attracts more and more little labels saying it is not supported and your system is not compatible with whatever new software that I try to install I am at the crossroads as Microsoft ceased producing a good operations system somewhere around the Windows 98 version

I have learnt to be very careful when asking people if windows 10 is worthwhile as they tend to pick up objects to throw at me.
Obviously Bill Gates knew what was coming and got out before the company tanked

So the options appear to be go to Apple or to Linux/Ubuntu

Naturally I do not want to lose all my data that's on windows and these days windows programs hide data all over the place, in earlier windows you could hold ALL documents in one place regardless of the software

I do have a Apple pad and an Apple phone.
The reason I have never gone to an Apple D/T in the past has been cost (I need a big screen)
