All over the world, including in Germany, there is a struggle for domestic and foreign investors and companies to settle / set up in the country and build up a company. The country, the region and its inhabitants benefit from this.

A Tesla gigafactory is currently being built in Germany in record time.

How could Germany and Berlin-Brandenburg convince Tesla to settle there? Certainly not with demands made on Elon Musk, but on the contrary, with great courtesy and the willingness to support this project in many ways.

Malawi is still far away from this. Malawi must first of all exploit those resources which bring the development of the country short-term success and continuous growth.In addition to agriculture, this is at most the mining sector and imo rather not the industrial and tourism sector.

If one look eg at the industrial history of Germany, the rise as an industrial nation began with coal mining and, as a result, with the steel industry.

Where does Malawi stand and how does Malawi want to generate its growth? What options do they have and what are the realistic options in general that can also be initiated immediately?

Why should politicians and technocrats in Malawi, given the circumstances and conditions, shut themselves off from this and continue on the Mutharika-path? This is and must be over, is imo illogical and does not make sense.

I am rather assuming that Malawi will strike outstretched hands and not spend more months and years pickingly with unrealistic and ineffective dreams, but to start with the most obvious and possible.

And this clearly includes KNP and the signature-ready DA and ML asap!

Hence the request to Dr. Chakwera and Dr. Chilima: Let the new dawn become reality!
