Tesla uses NVX's testing equipments.
Jeff Dahn works for Tesla and definitely has his influence on NVX.
To say Tesla has nothing to do with NVX is incorrect.
They have, or had, their link, but they do not have a direct contract or supply agreement with each other.
Tesla obviously changes their path to offer more low-cost EVs, and MMB is no longer what they desperately need (because of cost or other reasons).
IMO Jeff Dahn is going to leave Tesla, because of this or other unspoken reasons, and very likely to join NVX.
