Hi peoples,

This is good news... with the thin beds it does pose a minor barrier for getting commercial rates... but the rates can be increased using high angle deviated drilling (or horizontal drilling). MOS used this technology when drilling their Waggamba field... they currently have 4 well producing in the field (with a minor blckage in the 5th) which is being addresses 1H09...

The only questions are (1) can they re-enter J2 to perform the horizontal drilling (which they should) or will they have to drill a new well, and (2) the availability of an appropriate drill rig...
