"Campbell Newman has been cleared by the CMC. Craig Thomson has been cleared by no one as yet"
Newman was cleared of cerain alleagtions, however there are still investigations into donations to his office.
"But an investigation will be launched into $72,000 in developer donations made to Mr Newman’s mayoral re-election fund the week before a controversial development was approved by the Brisbane City Council last March."
